health that starts with you, and ends with them

Hi, I'm Hannah Cain,

My path to naturopathic medicine was shaped by my own health journey. As a child and teenager, I faced a number of complex health challenges that left my family searching for answers. We spent years navigating appointments, specialists, hospital stays, medications, and uncertainty. My parents never stopped advocating for me, but despite everyone's best efforts, we often felt overwhelmed, discouraged, and alone.

After years of frustration, I began searching for answers on my own & found naturopathic medicine.

For the first time, I worked with practitioners who looked beyond my symptoms and wanted to understand me—my whole story, my lifestyle, my environment, and all the factors contributing to my health. Healing wasn't immediate, and it certainly wasn't linear, but it was real. Little by little, I began to regain my health, my hope, and my trust in my body's ability to heal.

That experience changed everything.

At the time, I was preparing to attend conventional medical school but no longer felt like the conventional model aligned with my values. Deep down, I knew that if I wanted to become the kind of provider I had needed as a child, I needed to follow a different path.

It’s so nice to meet you!

As both a naturopathic doctor and a mother, I understand how deeply connected a child's health is to the wellbeing of their family. I know how exhausting it can feel when you're worried, searching for answers, or trying to make the best decisions with limited information. I also know how powerful it is when parents feel heard, supported, and empowered.

That is the foundation of Wild Roots Wellness.

I believe healthcare should be a partnership. My role isn't simply to tell families what to do, it's to help them understand their health, provide guidance rooted in evidence and compassion, and give them the tools and confidence to make informed decisions for themselves and their children.

At Wild Roots Wellness, my greatest joy is helping children thrive, supporting teens as they grow into confident young adults, and partnering with parents who want to build healthier futures for their families.

More than anything, I hope every family I connect with feels seen, supported, and hopeful. Because I know firsthand how much can change when you finally find a provider who listens, believes you, and walks alongside you on your journey toward health.
